Choir Note-Sunday, June 9, 2013
With only four more practices before our Patriotic Cantata, please give all your attention to the first half of practice each week.
Some of you have only been in practice a couple weeks and have some catching up to do. Others of you have been in every practice… and you have some catching up to do!
Thankfully, some of the songs and parts are very familiar, and you’re doing very well on them. Thanks for all the work so far. Perhaps you can begin inviting folks to our church to hear the presentation.
It’s always good to be reminded that we’re American. Not only does the term American mean our citizenship, but it should also conjure up much deeper thoughts as well. Through the readings and through the songs we’ll be singing, hopefully the deeper message of what being an American means will come through.
I’ve enjoyed this cantata practice so far and I hope you have too. For what it’s worth, keep up the good work!
