Still Hearing Great Reports
I keep hearing wonderful reports of how God is using last Sunday’s sermons from Bro. Dave McCracken. That was powerful.
Living under the control of the Holy Spirit means being filled right now, all the time. He has preached that idea here before, but this time it seemed to hit deeper than before. His personal experience with the filling of the Holy Spirit has created a whole new vessel, practically. Thank the Lord for God’s goodness and care for His children—every gift is by God’s grace!
I can get so transactional with God. “Well, I’ve been doing all these good things, God… NOW BLESS ME!”
That’s not how this thing works. He often does choose to bless us, but that’s because of His good grace. What a thought!
All week, we’ve been hearing good things from people as to how God is using the sermons to unlock some things in peoples’ Christian walks. I am so thankful for that.
Keep up your walk with God, but keep it up in HIS power and strength. Cast yourself fully and completely on God. Let Him be your refuge and strength.
