Events-based outreach is good, but only a small percentage of people come to services from an impersonal invitation. I’ve read studies that show that people are about 10x more likely to visit a church if someone invites them.
So, with Easter coming up in such a short time, who are you inviting? I’ve heard from several people already about a friend, neighbor, or coworker you’re asking. Praise God! If you don’t know anyone, come out on Saturday and we’ll go find some strangers!
“And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.” Luke 14:23
We’ll do our work to beautify the properties, pass out invitations, and prep for guests, but God will do the work of bringing the increase.
Are you staying faithful?
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye steadfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labor is not in vain in the Lord.
The Great Commission is a good work. Let’s get building on God’s house!
