The Holy Spirit did a great work at camp this past week. Your prayers were effective not only in the hearts of our teens but across the whole camp.
We added new churches this year, and after texting back and forth with a few of the pastors and youth pastors yesterday, they all said their groups LOVED it. The games were fun, the food was good… all the typical stuff.
But the Spirit of God took the Word of God and helped people know the will of God. That’s what it’s all about.
Many of our teens got up at the campfire and testified about some decisions they had made, and at the close of every service, our church got together to share how they could be doers of the Word and not hearers only. I was so proud of how they spoke up, encouraged each other to grow in the Lord, and stayed humble and open to whatever God wanted for them.
For every item you donated to the yard sale, every item you wildly overpaid for at the auction, and every time you gave toward camp, it was all for eternal fruit. Thank you for praying. Thank you for your generosity. Thank you for loving the next generation.
Missionary John Lande brought his boys from Sri Lanka to be at our camp last week, and I am so excited for you to hear him preach today. He stayed in the cabin with our younger guys, and I was glad for his influence all week. Now we get to hear from the Word today.
Let’s worship God in Spirit and truth.
