Wow, we’re only 2 weeks away from camp.
I can’t wait. For some reason, I’m looking forward to camp this year even more than last year. I don’t know why. I’ve been there a bunch of times before. I’ve seen it all before.
Maybe I’m just dreaming about what God can do in your lives when you sit under an entire week of preaching. I LOVE thinking about that. I just love preaching, so a whole WEEK of it I really love! J
If you’re missing the preaching of camp next week, all I can say is… I’m sorry. There’s a chance that we still might be able to fit you in if you’d like to go or if you missed the deadline (we just had a couple add last week!), but I am not sure. Mrs. Jamie would just have to call the camp to see if there are openings. If there aren’t, I’ll call my brother who works there and have them MAKE some openings. J
If you’re a little freaked out by my saying “a week of preaching,” don’t worry… it’s not ALL we do at camp. There are games and free time and tons of activities and all that fun stuff. But overall… the MAIN focus of the whole week is on the preaching. If you can’t get excited about that, I’ll pray for you. I mean… bummer! Even if you don’t like the heat or the games or the lake, at the very least come for the preaching and the youth group camaraderie.
It’s an awesome week, and I can’t wait!

CAMP! Two weeks from today we’ll be packing for camp! Be praying right now about how God can use the week of preaching to change you. In the past, we have been one of the larger groups there, and we have always had a good testimony based on your good spirit and attitude during the games, with your cabin-mates, during the preaching and especially with your counselors. Be tender to God and be open to whatever He has for you.
