Choir Note-Sunday, August 25, 2013
Next week we will begin Christmas practices. We will sing about the first 30 minutes of each week on the cantata and then the rest of the practice will be on upcoming Sunday material. While next week will be combined, the subsequent weeks will be split practices once again. I really enjoy learning new music, and this cantata should be challenging enough to keep you from being bored.
As always, please let me know if you are ever absent from practice. Also, please direct all sheet music questions to Mrs. Carla Colin. She is coming in to church at least one day per week to sort, organize and track all our music. Praise God for her great service so far—you should see our drawers of music so neatly labeled! I love it! Please see her for any of your needs including copies, books, numbers incorrect, folders and… everything. If you need counseling or cash, see her… no, just kidding. Don’t go that far!
Thanks are also in store for Sarah and Philip who are distributing the music each week. If it’s in your slot, they did it. Praise God.
Every servant in his place as we work toward our next big choir event—the Christmas cantata.
