Someone once said that missions is the heartbeat of God.
God cares for every single person on this earth. From the most remote Alaskan village to the most densely populated metro, God cares for everyone.
So who’s going to get out of their comfort zone and go reach lost souls across the world? Praise God for those of you who have surrendered your life to God. You’ve basically said, “God, use me wherever you want me.”
What if He calls you to Alaska? Will you go? Are you that surrendered? Tomorrow’s Alaska Missions Trip is a time to simply be exposed to people who have it harder than us. Do you care for souls enough to go?
“Why, yes! I want to be a missionary some day.” Okay. Are you being a missionary right now?
That’s where it hurts. Anyone can be a missionary “someday.” What about now?
And… whether you’re called to be a missionary or not… are you giving? That’s something that ALL of us can and should do. Do you regularly give to missions by faith? “I don’t have any money.” I said by faith. Not by you having money.
God will bless your faith if you have it. Missions is a great “litmus test” to see if you have real faith. On a scale of 1-10, how passionate are you about missions? -Bro. Ryan
