There has not been a time in American history when so many have access to so much as we do these days. If having more and more was the key to fulfillment, we would be the most fulfilled society the world has ever known. How is it then that many vulnerable young people are being manipulated into believing that life is bad and will only get worse?
Case in point-Time magazine’s choice for their cover issue of Person of the Year, a 16 year old privileged Swedish child, Greta Thunberg, whose message to America was a condemnatory diatribe on how our country has destroyed the world with our industrial progress, and that life is over for future generations. We’ve come to expect leftist gobbledygook from the editors of Time, but this is a new low, even for them.
Facts and reality seem to be difficult concepts for these people to deal with. How sad to live without God, having hopeless depression as your chosen way of life. It ought not so to be. This Christmas season the message of Joy to the World needs to be proclaimed, emphasizing that hope and joy are byproducts of coming to know the Lord Jesus Christ as Saviour!
