When one year ends and another begins, it’s time to reflect on the past and dream of the future. I use our Christmas card every year as an audit of all our trips, family events, and fun memories, and I use the Vision Booklet as a way to dream of the future.
Last year was such a blessing at our church. We saw many people added to the church, many people helped through our ministries, and many great memories were made.
Next year will be a great year too. I’m dreaming of becoming debt free as a church. I’m dreaming of adding Bro. Alex Del Cid on staff. I’m dreaming of new Bible Institute classes that can help people, a new visitation emphasis on Saturdays, and a trip to Israel (as well as preparations for a trip to the Southern Hemisphere in Fall of 2027!).
I’m dreaming of the lives that can be impacted through God’s church. We are here to help people be saved, baptized, and taught to observe all things that Christ has commanded, and there’s no greater dream than fulfilling the Great Commission.
As you wrap up your past year, reflect on the spiritual impact you have made. As you dream of 2026, what kind of spiritual goals do you have? Let’s end and begin strong.
