Vice Lists
Studying for tonight brought up several interesting vices within the many lists found in Scripture. Some of the “bad” things we know all too well. But what about the others? I was surprised how many times it listed things we would consider “no big deal.”
Allowing God to change us means knowing, reckoning, and yielding. If I “know” I’m dead to sin, and I need to “reckon” myself dead to those sins, and then “yield” to righteousness instead of unrighteousness, I should know specifically what those things are.
Too many times we have a vague “yieldedness” to God, but are you yielding your flesh to these? Meditate on the Scriptures to know what God wants of you.
