We set out this year to GROW IN KNOWING JESUS, and my prayer is for every member to spend every day doing something to grow closer to the Lord. I LOVE seeing you put the effort into your personal walk with the Lord. I love seeing God’s people grow.
Bro. Frank Wood Preaching. One way we are trying to grow is through guest preachers, and last week we enjoyed having Frank Wood invest in our church.
Bro. Christian Saldana Sermon Series. Another tool of spiritual growth we presented on Vision Night was a sermon series from Bro. Christian. Starting tonight, each Sunday night service in March we will hear from God’s Word through one of our men of God. Be sure to attend each week at 5:30pm.
Ministry Highlights. Also in our Sunday evening services we have been highlighting various ministries around the church. Last time, Bro. Paul gave a great update on our usher ministry, and tonight we get to hear about our Welcome Team—a crucial part of what happens here every Sunday!
Longform Videos. We also announced a new weekly video that can help you continue staying connected throughout the week. We have been refining the format of each new video, and are planning to launch this month!
Baptist Times Magazine Returning. The Baptist Times is a bi-monthly magazine for churches like ours, and after almost one year off, it will be resuming its publication. I loved the thought-provoking content of each editor’s note, and it’s encouraging to see others in the same spiritual battles we are in!
And a few more updates, not as related to our church theme, but important to our church:
Ruben Gutierrez Memorial. Continue to pray for Debbie Gutierrez and her family. Yesterday was the celebration of life service for our dear Bro. Ruben, and, more than anything else, he desired for his family to know Jesus Christ as savior! Please pray for lasting fruit.
Smokehouse Creek Fire. A massive wildfire is sweeping through the panhandle of Texas, and has affected our friends in Fritch. Please pray that Faith Baptist Church members can shine the hope of Jesus Christ in this devastating time.
Pastor John Vaught. My pastor friend in Scottsdale, AZ, was in ICU this week from a horrific skiing accident that broken several ribs and collapsed his lungs. He is now stable and recovering, but please pray!
Remote Viewing Room. Pastor Wm. Rench has been working the past two weeks on a new wall in our nursery area. You should go visit the Kids Wing to see the progress!
I love you dearly, church. God bless you as you GROW IN KNOWING JESUS.
