Easter is only three weeks away, and I pray that everyone here can bring a guest to church! Grab a stack of invitations and pass them out. Share the video. Tell someone about Jesus!
He died for you. He was buried. And He ROSE FROM THE DEAD for your sin! Glory to God!
It’s not enough to have a head knowledge of the facts about Jesus’ resurrection. Salvation is only received by a biblical belief in Christ, which is about fully trusting him in your heart—moving from a head knowledge to a heart belief.
Last week, we heard several powerful sermons from Bro. Sam Davison, and we can either respond with “Huh, that was nice,” or we can be “doers of the Word, and not hearers only.”
The people in 1 Samuel 6 (both Philistine and Israelite) learned a healthy respect for God, but respect is not enough if it doesn’t lead to right belief and action. They learned the hard way that before true revival is true repentance. We heard a lot about that last Sunday night, didn’t we?
Psalms 51:16-17 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it: thou delightest not in burnt offering. 17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.
If we’re believing right about our resurrected Lord and Savior, there’s no way we keep that to ourselves. Let’s spread the news about Jesus Christ this whole month!
