MOTHERS DAY
One mom recently said, “All I want for Mother’s Day is to do nothing. I just want to show up to life and not have anything to do. That would be the greatest gift ever.”
Most moms are the ones taking care of everything. Yes, even on Mother’s Day, there are still things she has to do for everyone. For those of you moms with kids in the home today, you probably still fielded some questions, cleaned up some messes, helped someone with their stuff, and made sure the family was all ready to go for church. You’re always “on.” You’re always in mom mode. No one cares for you like you care for others, and today’s the day when you’re aloud to get a little huffy about that!
So, kids of all ages, and yes, dads too—help mom out! Give her the gift of… letting her do nothing.
We were in Costco the other day looking at some tri-tip, and she said, “I’d probably still have to cook it on Mother’s Day, though.” Honey, the kids and I have got you covered! Just sit back and enjoy!
Now, how do I cook tri-tip again?

THANK YOU FROM JAMIE RENCH
Dear church,
Thank you so much for the flowers and gift card to celebrate our 15 years of ministry here. It was so thoughtful of you to recognize that!
Milestones always make me reminisce, and I can’t help but think back on all the people, 15 years of people! What a blessing and honestly a true privilege to serve alongside each and every one. It’s humbling to not just be the people we see on Sundays but also to be a part of your lives — all the birthdays, graduations, weddings, funerals, kids’ sports and music events, fellowship in your homes and ours, exciting times, immensely difficult times, tears and laughter. We truly are a church FAMILY. Thank you for being patient with us, for loving us, and for allowing us into your lives.
Most importantly, after 15 years, the church hasn’t stagnated. God continues to grow His church in spiritual depth and maturity and also numerically as we see souls saved and added to the church. That’s what it’s all about!! We bring the Bible home so we can know the Lord more and to share Him with all around us. It’s amazing to see how God uses a unified body to fulfill His purposes, and to be a part of that…wow!
Thank you, again, for 15 FANTASTIC years! Looking forward to many, many more to come.
Because of Him,
-Jamie
