Summer is here, folks! For us, this means a calendar full of opportunities to grow, serve, and connect. Use your summer intentionally rather than passively, and throw yourself into every service, activity, and chance to fellowship. Here are a few updates…
BRO. TIM. Our summer intern, Bro. Tim Yoder, arrived safely on Wednesday and has already hit the ground running. I am thankful for his desire to learn and contribute, and I am excited for you to invest in him.
MEMORIAL DAY. Last week’s Memorial Day picnic was a wonderful time to fellowship in God’s beautiful creation!
PROMOTION AND GRADUATION. Today, our Sunday school classes promote, so many of our kids will have new teachers and classes to attend. I’m so thankful for faithful teachers who invest in these kids. Also, congratulations to our five high school graduates: Abby Juarez, Alex Román, Caleb Rowley, Joshua Rowley, and Annalina Yen.
TONIGHT’S SPECIAL SERVICE. I believe church members are most spiritually healthy when they are involved in ALL the services of their church, so instead of promoting a service and begging people to come, we just highlight the blessings of being involved. Tonight’s service will especially be encouraging because of the following:
- Graduate testimonies. Come hear our graduates’ plans.
- Josh Rowley preaching / Youth Night. Our young people will serve in the services.
- Cake. Enjoy dessert after service!
- Volleyball. A good night for some friendly competition and fellowship.
Here we go!
