WRAPPING UP THE YEAR
Time to wrap up the year and stick bow on it. This time of year is good to reflect. We just wrote our annual Christmas card that we mail out each year, and gathering the info for it is always fun! We look back over church events, family trips, and analyze the whole year to remember what happened. We look through pictures and say, “Oh yeah! That was this year, huh?!” We reflect on how good GOD has been.
That’s a good use of this season. Wrap a bow on the year. Thank God again—thanksgiving doesn’t have to end just because Thanksgiving ended.
God’s been so good to us at church this year. With the many saved and baptized recently, it’s a joy to minister with you. No Christmas play this year, so it’s a lighter week than it’s been the past few years, but I hope you’re using the time in a productive way. Use it for the Lord. Spend time with family, or reaching out to loved ones.
It’s a good season. Make it about Christ.
