RAILROAD TRACKS
Salvation and sanctification are like railroad tracks… you crash and burn if you’re missing one! If you have sanctification without salvation, that’s called legalism. You’re trying to earn your way to heaven by self-produced outward changes, and God is not impressed with that. But if you have salvation without sanctification, sure, you’re on your way to heaven, but it’s a bumpy ride!
First, you’re saved, and then God produces the fruit in you. Our passage in Romans teaches it. The other epistles like Galatians and Ephesians teach it. It’s all through the Bible.
Let’s know, reckon, and yield ourselves to the Lord in all things.
