Special Guests This Month
The Master Clubs takes the month of July off, so the kids in our services tonight count as our special guests! Also, this month is a month of special guest preachers.
- July 10. Next week, Brandon Román will preach for us. He has served in our Retirement Homes faithfully, and God has developed in him a heart to declare God’s Word. He does a great job, and it has been a while since we have heard him preach in church. I am looking forward to it, although I will have to catch it on livestream since I will be with the junior campers at Ironwood next week.
- July 17. Next, Tim Yoder will preach the following Wednesday. He did such a great job last time and showed a passion for God’s Word that I really like to see. God will use Bro. Tim in your heart, so do not miss. Don’t be like me… I will be in Pensacola for Bro. Zack and Ms. (almost Mrs.) Shae’s wedding!
- July 24. The next week during teen camp, our Master Clubs director and deacon Philip Thompson will preach on what Christ went through in the Garden of Gethsemane. This will be a powerful thought that I am looking forward to hearing.
- July 31. The last week of July will feature Welsh preaching on “A Good Work.” We met last week about his sermon, and I am excited for you to hear it! Dr. Welsh will give you plenty to think about, and I appreciate his approach to God’s Word. The whole Rench family will be in Northern California for my parents’ 50th wedding anniversary.
- 7. Finally, Bro. Gerhard Theurich will preach the first Wednesday of August. Instead of scheduling him immediately after he returns from Germany, we wanted to give a couple of weeks to get reacclimated to the time difference so that he would be able to put his mind to the study.
It takes a LOT to prepare sermons, and I appreciate these men’s willingness to preach for us. Let’s bring the Bible home. -Pastor Ryan
