Preparing For the Christmas Play

Prayer. Please pray fervently this week for souls to be saved.

Outreach. Spread the word to as many people as possible!

Deference. Please defer the best seating to our guests. If there’s an option for something better, let them have it.

Helpfulness. You know your way around here, but guests don’t. Look for ways to help people.

Excellence. Let’s each do our part to make this the best year yet! Whatever your role, ask yourself, “How would Disneyland do this?” May we do as much for the King of kings! 1 Cor. 14:12

Kindness. In your zeal for excellence, do not let it stress you out. Sometimes your area becomes more important than the overall goal, so in order to keep an efficient line moving, you’re barking orders! Keep the spirit of love in what we’re doing.

Service. Look for ways to serve. Anticipate needs. Whether it’s a trashcan that needs to be emptied, or a guest that needs a playbill, find ways to serve people.

Gospel witness. Use the fellowship time before and after the shows to greet guests and show genuine concern for their eternity. This may be the only time we have with them, so don’t be afraid to say something like, “It was so nice to have you with us for the play. Thank you for coming! Was the message about Scrooge needing to be saved from sin something you’ve ever thought about before?”

Something like that. Something to help people think about themselves in the play.

Thank you for all your amazing work, church. Please pray! –Pastor Ryan
