SCOOCH OVER!

Move on up to the front sections and fill the rows as we start our new Romans Series. As I mentioned last week, it will be different from a typical Sunday sermon as we will cover many different topics, not just one overall idea. I’m very excited for this new format, and I hope you make it easy and just move on up a few rows. Treat it like Comedy Night—the front was FULL! 😊

UPDATES

The Master Clubs Takeover on Sunday night raised almost $750 for the missionaries they highlighted! What a blessing! That whole night was so encouraging to see our young people loving souls all around the world. They did awesome.

Our interns have been BUSY! Here are a few of the projects they’ve been clicking through:

These are the tangibles, but only God knows the intangible, eternal impact they’re making. While these projects might not seem very “spiritual,” I can see God using our interns in ways they might not even realize yet. It’s the simple things like playing with the kids after service, or preaching in church—we may not know what kind of impact they made until years down the road.

Also, we may never know what kind of bad impressions they’re helping us avoid by fixing all the little maintenance stuff. Someone might say, “Sure, the Bible was taught at that church, but when we got there, the place was dirty and run down. It didn’t seem like they cared about their buildings, so I doubt they care that deeply about their message.” Maybe you think that’s shallow thinking, but when the interns do maintenance projects, we are trying to have presentable buildings in order to eliminate any hurdle that might be in the way of the Gospel. These buildings are almost 20 years old now, but they don’t have to look neglected. Thank God for the little details that our interns help us with—I believe it’s making an eternal difference!
