Poor John. Cheesecake toast… and he doesn’t even like cheesecake. And poor Gabby… oatmeal toast. Mmm! And poor Kaitlyn… macaroni salad toast. Yuck! And poor Anastasia… Sweet potato mush toast. Although, she rolled that baby up and chomped it! Nice!
It was quite a Christmas party last Friday night! We played the toaster game, a Christmas version of Family Feud (guys won, right?), sang some songs, got a great devo from Bro. Aaron, and had a crazy gift exchange. Our house was packed with a ton of messy people—you!
It was great to have several guests with us, too. I hope we weren’t too crazy for them! Keli brought Brooke and Gabby brought Kirsten. All they went away with was some snacks and a worthless gift—like 2 batteries and a sign that says, “Gift not included.”
All your gag gifts were well planned. Good job. We had fish and chips, pet rocks, Christmas “decorations,” cold hard cash, freaky puppets, dolls, and other characters. We had brand new items and items from Savers. We had decorations and medicines. We had live goldfish and some nasty looking foods. There were things that were practical and impractical, nasty and cute. You brought some crazy gifts! Is that what you do every Christmas?
Thank you for coming out on Friday. I had a blast. Check out the pictures on the walls today.
Our LAST activity of the year is the Youth Winter Rendezvous—our 3-day winter camp. If you can come, it’s Jan. 1-3 and the cost is $130 which includes meals and lodging. I hope you can come!
