Note from Sunday, October 20, 2013
This Saturation Saturday is one of the months we are trying to get 100 people to show up. Are you coming?
Every month we have one Saturday set aside as Saturation Saturday. We meet in the gym and have tons of maps laid out for the church people to grab and go put flyers on people’s doors. This Saturday, the teens will be taking a bus to a nearby neighborhood and passing out invitations to our Revival services with Bro. Paul Schwanke.
I mentioned last week that if all of you show up, our class alone will make up ¼ of Pastor’s goal of 100 people! That would be awesome! How cool would it be to have our whole class out there inviting others to church. What a blessing you always are anyway as many of you come out every week already (or at least every other week). I get comments all the time about what a blessing it is to see so many teens out every week.
This Saturday, we just want you to all show up! It’s always a fun time, but that’s not the purpose. We always enjoy each others’ company, but that’s not why we go out. We go out on Saturation Saturday to reach out to others in our community. If the preaching of God’s Word is important to all people, we want as many people to hear God’s Word as possible—which is why we are inviting others to our Revival services!
Be here this Saturday and we will all go out on Saturation.

He Has Made Me Glad (song 154)
I will enter His gates with thanksgiving in my heart,
I will enter His courts with praise.
I will say this is the day that the Lord has made,
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.
He has made me glad. He has made me glad,
I will rejoice for He has made me glad.
This World is Not My Home (song 156)
This world is not my home, I’m just a passing through
My treasures are laid up somewhere beyond the blue;
The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.
O Lord, You know I have no friend like You,
If heaven’s not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from heaven’s open door,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.
They’re all expecting me, and that’s one thing I know,
My Savior pardoned me and now I onward go;
I know He’ll take me thro’ tho’ I am and weak and poor,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.
I have a loving Savior up in gloryland,
I don’t expect to stop until I with Him stand,
He’s waiting now for me in heaven’s open door,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.
Just up in gloryland, we’ll live eternally,
The saints on every hand are shouting victory,
Their songs of sweetest praise drift back from heaven’s shore,
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.
