Our trip last week to the Global Independent Baptist Fellowship meeting hosted by Bible Baptist Church in Everett Washington was a blessing and benefit to Wendy and me, as well as all the pastors, missionaries and evangelists who attended. Pastor Eric Sanders and his church family did a great job and made all of us guests welcome as they ministered to us. The preaching was great all week. Some of the services are up on their website, so you might want to listen in on them. We only missed the last evening session with Brother Sam Davison because we had to leave Washington and drive to Lebanon, Oregon to get there in time for Wendy’s mom’s back surgery. She came through the operation and is now in the process of a long rehabilitation. It was necessary for Wendy to stay and help for about six weeks since her mom is not yet able to stand or walk. Thank you for your prayers while I was up North, and we hope you will continue to pray for Wendy and her mom as she recovers. I was gladdened to hear good reports of services here as well! We are looking forward to a good autumn season in the work of the Lord!
