I feel like I’ve seen you every day this week. Oh wait… I pretty much have!
Wasn’t the Family Crusade amazing?
I loved it. It came at a crazy week for me, so before the week started, I was a little nervous. My inlaws had just gone home, so that meant no more Grammy and Grampy to babysit and help with the 2 kids now. Also, Charlotte was sleeping great through the night of week one (when the grandparents were here). Well, week two (the Crusade week)… not so great. She decided to stay awake all night a few times.
So, going into the week, I thought, “This will be a long week.” But… it was too short! I came home each night absolutely energized by the service! I’m serious. I was revitalized by the preaching. Then, to see the 7 or 8 who were saved last Thursday—that’s the icing on the cake!
It was an amazing week with Bro. Dunlop and the Family Crusade last week, but it is not over. Now our job starts.
Did you know that YOU had a part in the Family Crusade? It wasn’t just for little kids, as you saw. It’s called the Family Crusade on purpose… it’s for everyone in the family! Kids, teens, adults… everyone. So, your part as a member of our church was to reach out to the teen guests.
After Bro. Dunlop leaves, the real work begins. He was here a week. We are here all year. Your job is to follow through with the work God started at the Family Crusade last week. The Family Crusade is not a one-time deal. It is a kick-start to help our church in its outreach.
Thank God for Bro. Dunlop and all his work. Now it’s our turn.
-Bro. Ryan

Silver and Gold (song 63)
Peter and John went to pray. They met a lame man on the way.
He held out his palms and he asked for some alms and this is what Peter did say,
“Silver and gold have I none, But such as I have give I thee.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”
He went walking and leaping and praising God.
Walking and leaping and praising God.
In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk.”
Cool Water (song 70)
All day on the prairie, I face the burnin’ sun,
Longin’ for a drink from God’s cool spring. (I am so)
Tired and oh so weary, I’m thirstin’ for His Word,
Yearnin’ for the cleansing it will bring.
I need the cool, clear water, the sweetest taste I know;
Cool, clear water will cause a tree to grow.
I’m thirstin’ for the Bible, to refresh my weary soul,
The cool, clear water of God.
Ridin’ in the saddle from dawn to setting sun,
Workin’ till my strength is almost gone. (I know that)
God’s eternal fountain renews my weary mind;
There I find the strength to carry on.
Searchin’ for the river within a barren land;
Holy Spirit, be my faithful Guide. (If Thou wilt)
Draw me to the fountain of God’s sweet Word divine,
Then my spirit shall be satisfied.
