What a week! Our kids went into the week saying, “Missions Revival is our FAVORITE time of year!” I’m not sure yet if it’s because of the good food each night, the potluck on Sunday, or the preaching, but they love it every year. This year was special because they had some KIDS to be friends with!
It was special to me to see our church family helped by God’s Word. We grew in attendance each night, and by Wednesday it was quite full! I’m not in this for the numbers (I’m not even sure if we took count) but any number is about you, the PEOPLE, being personally involved in worldwide missions.
I’m praying that the sermons can help you seek the Lord and do His will. If you were open to God, He will take care of our church finances. I’m not worried a bit about that. The preachers preached on giving, but it was more about your heart, and God’s heart, and sacrifice, and commitment. If we can get a burden for lost souls around the world, the budget is easy. We WANT to give to be a part of that. It’s EASY to pray when we can see what God is doing with our investment.
What a great week. Thank you for your generosity and kindness to the missionaries. The past year has been wonderful, and this Missions Revival was a great boost to my own soul. Let’s live by faith and give by faith this year.

GET INVOLVED
Weekly outreach. The Outreach Table at the back of the sanctuary has maps and tracts to pass out. This is a simple way to reach our community. (Bi-weekly Saturday meetings will return in 2025)
Monthly All-Church Outreach. Commit now to be at each All-Church Outreach.
2025 Operation Go. Bro. Serrano encouraged us to be involved in some weekly training to help declare our faith, coming in 2025.
Christmas Carol invitations. Begin inviting friends even now to our Christmas Carol play in December. Outreach materials coming soon.

Weekly prayer meetings. Join us every Wednesday for updates from our missionaries and a special prayer time as a church family.

By faith, commit to support our missionaries by giving a set amount to the missions offering every week.
SALDANA UPDATE
Our FAVORITE missions project will be when the Saldanas plant a brand new church in San Diego in 2027. They are beginning a two-year internship in San Diego with the Canyon Ridge Baptist Church very soon. We have moved the timeline up slightly:
Oct. 3. The Roberts join the youth staff to work alongside the Saldanas.
Nov. 17. The teen activity FRIENDSGIVING will celebrate the Saldana’s final Sunday.
Around Thanksgiving. Saldanas move to San Diego.
Dec. 8. Saldanas participate in A Christian Christmas Carol
Jan. 5. Bro. Christian ordination services with guest preachers Pastor John Waterloo and Pastor Chris Chadwick.
