Thank You for Praying
Our family took a 1,400 mile road trip through Utah and Arizona, and it was a perfect time for the mind to go, “Aaahhh.” I guess I didn’t realize how nice that would be, and I thank you for praying for us while we were gone.
I sincerely thank you. I don’t know if my mind is pessimistic or just preparatory, but I often think about worst-case scenarios and how I might respond. It’s weird, I know, but it’s an exercise in trust, I guess. Bro. Cameron preached last Wednesday on trusting the Lord (a GREAT sermon!), and I sometimes wonder how much I would trust the Lord if a tragedy happened to my family.
Well… no tragedy, so thank you for praying! I believe our prayers move the hand of God, and that no prayer is trivial to our loving Father.
So, keep praying in faith. I missed you, and I am so glad to be home and getting back at it!
