We try extremely hard to add value to your life through the Teens of Faith.
I mean… in everything we do, we try to make sure it will help you in some way.
Yesterday’s activity was valuable. We met some new people, got to know each other better, laughed together, ate some good snacks, served, and made memories together. That’s valuable.
Probably the most valuable day of your week is Sunday, but it’s only valuable if you see the value for yourself.
It’s like the 3 year old who barely understands money. If you give him a choice between 10 shiny brand new pennies or a $100 bill, he’ll probably take the shiny pennies. Why? He doesn’t know the value of the $100 bill.
Does his knowledge (or lack of knowledge) change the value of the $100 bill? Not at all. But as he grows, he will see the value sooner or later.
That’s what I mean with this class, and with Sundays in general. Sundays are the most valuable day of your week. We are meeting to worship our Creator, recognizing His due worth and our small, feeble selves before Him. We are thanking God that all we have comes from Him, and that is the most valuable thing you can focus on in a day.
Why?
Well, like Pastor said last Sunday—we’re storing up eternal treasures instead of earthly ones. I’d rather be rich there than here, wouldn’t you?
