Hello from Oklahoma!
Our family has been enjoying nightly services in Stillwater, OK, as we represent you and share what God is doing in Temecula, CA. We are part of their Missions Revival, and every night, God’s house is PACKED with people who have made missions a priority in their lives. They don’t have a “Sunday morning only” crowd—every member is at every service, and they prepare in advance to be there! Around the church there are bookmarks with important 2024 dates so that the people can plan their calendar around what matters most in eternity.
And missions is definitely a (the?) priority, isn’t it?
I love that since our Missions Revival, God has stirred in us a heart for the mission field of our own city and state, along with our heart for the world. Today, my dad (our founding pastor) is preaching the morning service, and Bro. Christian Saldana—our Associate Pastor—is preaching the evening service.
I know you love God’s house and His Word, and I love that there’s a spiritual hunger in our church to be around it as much as possible. That’s why I know you will be blessed in a special way by the services tonight. In addition to preaching, Bro. Christian will be showing the 19-minute documentary video that he put together for our REACH CALIFORNIA conference that we are hosting at Heartland Baptist Bible College starting on Monday. I could say this every service, but you will not want to miss tonight.
This is not about hyping up one service over another. I believe every service we have brings spiritual growth, and every church member does SO much more in each service than just takes in, so if Sunday night services are a new concept to you, join us tonight at 5:30 pm! For the seasoned Christians, you know church is a sanctifying tool in the hand of the Lord, and since Jesus loves it, we do too!
