Jay Bhattacharya, Profes- sor of Medicine at Stanford was one of the medical professionals who wrote a response to the widespread government lockdown decrees. “The Great Barrington Declaration,” states the grave concerns about the damaging physical and mental health impacts of prevailing COVID-19 policies and offers a much more common-sense response. The Declaration, as of October 2020, had been signed by over 43,000 medical and public health scientists and medical practitioners. It basi- cally advocates focusing on protecting the vulnerable and letting the rest of the people go on about their lives, while practicing common sense.
The U.N. has indicated that an additional 130 million people will die of starvation this year, as a direct result of the economic dam- age done by the lock downs. Those who are screaming “Trust the science!”, aren’t trusting the genuine science. They prefer the “brilliant pseudo-science” of leftist movie stars and glittery Holly- wood singers, caught up with social media and mainstream me- dia fear-mongering. The less you listen to that crowd and all their sycophants, the better off you will be.
