We received this week the completed information regarding the 2020 National Church Planting Conference which we were blessed to participate in last month. This was the 21st year of this important meeting. Executive Vice-President Jeff Copes commented, “This year I observed a significant number of former church planters, who received financial support at this conference in the past, return to participate in giving to fellow church planters.”
It is true that Bible colleges don’t start churches; churches start churches. So, when representatives of those churches gather together to participate in giving to church planting, we see God doing some marvelous things through it.
There were about 75 church planters there, with something along the way of a hundred pastors from the giving churches. There were as well the several hundred HBBC students and many church folks who attended. The giving this year exceeded all previous years, as a total of $626,012.00 was given. $513,132.00 as given in immediate giving, and another $112,880 was committed for the year, in monthly support.
Thank you so much for your giving to our Christmas offering, which we took there to distribute among the church planters! Every soul won and every life changed through the ministries we helped support will cause some credit to accumulate in your “heavenly account!”
