LEARNING FROM THE PREACHING
I’m so proud of my brother—he’s been learning so much from the preaching recently. Why, just last week he said, “I’m learning to tell Carrie that I’m exactly the kind of man she’d be CRAZY not to love!”
A few weeks ago he told someone, “You think that looks nice? Psh. I am NOT impressed. I don’t even CARE. I’m trying to be like God… I will NOT be a respecter of persons!”
I mean… I guess these things were said, sort of.
At least he’s listening. It’s kind of like when my kids show me their notes from the sermons… they got a little bit of it, and I’m so proud of them! It may not be theologically sound, but we’ll get to that in time.
So, take what you can from the sermons. Just try to take the right things.
