From One Series To the Next
We have only a few more sermons to our series on the battleground of the mind, but the final sermons get to the heart of the answer: prayer. This will lead seamlessly to the next series, which will be a focus on the men of the Bible who have recorded prayers. Rather than look at the series of events in their lives, we will look at their prayers and see how prayer influenced the direction of their lives.
I read two short books from E. M. Bounds on the topic last week, and I will try to include chapters from his books in our weekly announcement sheets so you can follow along and take the truths home with you. ALL of my material is borrowed; some of it is from men. The Scriptures will be our basis, but we can often find help from people who have tried to live Scriptural truths in their lives.
I am eager to share over the next several months what I believe can strengthen every single one of us. Stay tuned!
