Note from Sunday, November 3, 2013
Ok I’ll admit… I missed you.
I know I thought I’d be sick of you by the end of last week, but it was good seeing you each night of Revival, AND at the youth activity, AND at Saturation Saturday, AND on Thursday, AND last Wednesday… now that I think about it, maybe it wasn’t so great after all! (just kidding!)
It feels like it has been a long time since we’ve been in our class. Welcome back!
I am excited to get back into the CLEAN UP series as well as our Wednesday night video series with Bro. Ken Ham. We only have four more videos on Wednesday nights before we take a couple weeks off and then start up a new series I’ll announce soon.
I’m excited about this coming year in the Teens of Faith, and I hope it’s a blessing to you, as well. I want it to be one of the best years of your life, and I pray that through the preaching you will receive this coming year, your lives will be changed.
I know we say, “It’ll change your life” a lot. You hear that idea tossed around here and there, but in church and through the preaching of God’s Word, the Bible WILL change your life, if you let it.
So let it.

Well, I’m On My Way (song 160)
In a far off land lived a man,
Old Elijah was his name,
And he stood alone for the Lord in his day.
Well they heard him sigh, and then cry
As the golden chariots came,
“O happy day, well, I’m on my way!”
Well I’m on my way, (Yee-haw!)
To a mansion in the sky;
Well I’m on my way
To an everlasting by and by;
Just turn to Him,
And He will free you from your sin,
And you will say, “O happy day! Well, I’m on my way!”
The Apostle Paul spoke to all of redeeming, saving grace.
And he cried, “Repent, do it now, don’t delay!”
Well, they took his head, now he’s dead,
But his writings plainly say,
“O happy day, well, I’m on my way!”
There among the trees, on his knees
Martyr Stephen looked about;
And he cast his eyes to the skies for to pray;
As he felt the stones crush his bones,
He resounded with a shout:
“O happy day, well, I’m on my way!”
Heavenly Sunlight (song 157)
Heavenly sunlight, heavenly sunlight,
Flooding my soul with glory divine
Heavenly sunlight, heavenly sunlight
Hallelujah! Jesus is mine!
