Make 2014 a growing year for you. If some of you dedicated HALF the time you spend on video games to reading or listening to audiobooks, you’d be a changed person.
If you listen to preaching HALF the time you listen to music, you’d be a changed person in 2014.
If you prayed HALF the time you watch TV, you’d be a new Christian.
If you read your Bible HALF the time you read fiction or other reading material, you’d be far more enriched.
If you spent HALF the time serving at church that you do sitting at home bored, you’d be more fit physically and more fulfilled spiritually.
If you gave to missions HALF the money you spend buying yourself food, drinks, or other stuff, you’d dramatically notice the difference in your giving spirit.
If you surrendered HALF of ALL your thoughts to God, you would notice an astounding transformation in your spiritual-mindedness.
If you gave HALF the attention to preaching that you do to the girl or boy you’d like, God would radically change your life.
If you’re honest, you’ll notice that HALF of a lot of things in your physical life is still more than ALL of some things in your spiritual life. Some things you can’t help… like sleep. You’re going to sleep 8 hours per day or so. You’re probably not going to read your Bible or serve at church 8 hours per day, but what CAN you do for HALF the time (4 hours)? Think about it. Then purpose to do it.

YOUTH WINTER RENDEZVOUS – This week! January 2-3 in Wrightwood, CA. Leaving at 8am Thursday and returning Friday evening. Probably no snow play this year, but still a great time. Cost is $110 and includes all gas, meals and lodging. Money due today. See Mrs. Jamie for how much you owe.
