Missionary Pastor David Cloud recently wrote the following ob- servation; “Righteousness exalteth a nation: but sin is a reproach to any people” Proverbs 14:34. “Even if some Democrats committed corruption, which is doubtless, we have to look at the big picture and not share the frustration and anger of political conservatives who do not have a solid biblical worldview.”
We who are seeking to build our lives on that solid biblical worldview do not want to become addicted to conservative political outlets to the point where we cannot go a day with- out looking at some of those sources or at other never-ending news recycling programs. Much better it would be to be- come addicted as we read of some in the Bible – 1Corinthians16:13-15 Watch ye, stand fast in the faith, quit you like men, be strong. Let all your things be done with charity. I beseech you, brethren, (ye know the house of Stephanas, that it is the firstfruits of Achaia, and that they have addicted themselves to the ministry of the saints).
